Diamond Blades for Abrasive Materials
Our black diamond blades are our hardest bond for cutting abrasive materials like asphalt, natural limestone, cinder blocks and green (uncured) concrete. They have undercut protection using an "R" segment (undercut protection reduces the chances of the blade biting or kicking back, or segments coming off) and uses 10mm diamond asphalt bond segments. These blades are ideal for use on quick-cuts (handsaw) or floor saws.
Our Premium asphalt blades were originally developed for dry cutting in the US market, so are tough and durable.

It is also used in the Limestone industry on quick-cuts (handsaw), and also by the professional cutter on very abrasive products like green concrete. This diamond blade is also handy as a wall chasing blade, although we do recommend our wall chaser blades if this is your main use. 5"/125mm blade does not have undercut protection, but is ideal for getting into those fiddly areas your big blade won't reach (22.23mm/20mm centre). |

Silica dust - when workers cut, saw, crush, drill, polish or grind products that contain silica, particles are created, which are one-hundredth of the size of a grain of sand. These can get stuck deep in the lungs.
Ensure precautions to limit exposure to dust are in place.
See the WA government's info on silica dust here.
